Symptoms of Diseases Linked to Asbestos Exposure

There are three diseases, which asbestos exposure has been proven to cause. The symptoms of each vary. They are as follows:

Asbestosis:

Asbestosis takes 20 to 30 years to show itself after the initial exposure. In the beginning, there are no symptoms or very mild symptoms. Because the air sacs in the lungs are filled with fibroid tissue, the patient has a shortness of breath while exercising. In the beginning, the patients feels this shortness of breath while exercising, but gradually, he may start feeling it even when he doesn’t exert himself.
